televisiecomponist. De grootste bekendheid kreeg de score die hij schreef met
zijn vader, de legendarische Jerry Goldsmith (1929-2004), voor Star Trek: First Contact (Jonathan Frakes,
1996), eigenlijk slechts ‘aanvullende muziek’. Schreef vooral muziek voor
televisie, enkele films, hoofdzakelijk in de onderste regionen
van de onafhankelijke productie: Auditions (Harry Hurwitz, 1978), Olivia
(Ulli Lommel, 1983), The Man with Two
Brains (Carl Reiner, 1983), Hollywood
Hot Tubs (Chuck Vincent, 1984), Watchers (Jon Hess, 1988), Moon 44 (Roland Emmerich, 1990), Maniac Cop 3: Badge of Silence (William Lustig, 1993), Joshua Tree (met Dolph Lundgren;
Vic Armstrong, 1993), Man’s Best Friend (John
Lafia, 1993), Shiloh (Dale Rosenbloom, 1996), Kull the Conqueror (John Nicolella,
1997) en Shadow of Doubt (Randal Kleiser, 1998).
