Amerikaans regisseur en scenarioschrijver, soms opererend onder het pseudoniem Karl Andersson. In de jaren zestig met collega's als Russ Meyer en Radley Metzger pionier van het sexploitatiegenre, maar zou later overstappen op harde porno. Debuteerde officieel met de low-budgetproductie Lash of Lust (1962).
