Amerikaans actrice. Maakte indruk in haar filmdebuut, als het meisje Mayella dat een valse aanklacht wegens verkrachting indient in To Kill a Mocking Bird (Robert Mulligan, 1962). Volgende rollen waren minder opvallend: Catch-22 (Mike Nichols, 1970), The Revolutionary (Paul Williams, 1970), The Baby Maker (James Bridges, 1970), Jaws 2 (Jeannot Szwarc, 1978), Marie (Roger Donaldson, 1985), The Journey of August King (John Duigan, 1995) en Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (Clint Eastwood, 1997). Trad ook veel op in televisieproducties, soms onder de naam van haar echtgenoten, als Collin Wilcox-Horne of Collin Wilcox Paxton.
